Who We Are
The KCDF is the philanthropic arm of the College Park Sandy Spring (CPSS) Alumni Chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. KCDF places particular emphasis on African-American children; however its programs are inclusive of ALL races, ethnic groups and religions. KCDF directs particular energy toward identifying single female parent households and connecting their sons with positive male role models.
To accomplish its mission, KCDF sponsors an Annual Men of Distinction/Guide Right Program hosted at Redland Middle School and Buck Lodge Middle School in Montgomery and Prince George's counties, respectively. KCDF also co-sponsors an Annual Teen Summit hosted at Kennedy High School as well as the Howard County Teen Summit, the African-American Male Achievers Network (A-MAN) Saturday Academy in Prince Georges County, and a summer Math Camp.
